Emma Stone’s Award-Winning Weekend Wardrobe

I genuinely admire Emma Stone‘s taste for timeless silhouettes and her ability to add flair and elegance to any ensemble, regardless of how basic it may be.

Over the weekend, the 35-year-old actress attended the Producers Guild and Screen Actors Guild Awards and wore muted gray. Though not quite as stunning as her orange BAFTA outfit, I still thought she looked terrific.

Blending Edge and Simplicity in JW Anderson

At the Producers Guild of America Awards on Sunday, where Poor Things was up for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, Emma Stone donned a sophisticated but chic light gray dress that, in my opinion, perfectly encapsulated the mood of the occasion.

The understated sleeveless column dress had a straightforward silhouette with a modest mock neck and an ankle-length hem. But what caught my attention was the random loose, wrestling-style belt looped around the waist. It had a twisted plaited accent dangling down the center front and finished with a festooned hem.

These craftsy twists and knots are evident in JW Anderson’s latest Fall/Winter 2024 collection, showcasing the UK fashion label’s signature bold and playful aesthetic. While it looked odd, I liked the edgy texture it gave the otherwise simple outfit.

A Glittering Touch: Accessorizing With Elegance

I’m not a huge fan of the dress, but I love how the sheer fabric gracefully flowed over Emma’s slim figure, offering a subtle glimpse of her toned legs.

Emma’s trusted Petra Flannery accessorized the ensemble with dangling diamond earrings and a few rings from Tiffany & Co. to add a little glitz.

To maintain coherence, Emma slipped her pedicured feet into a pair of silver peep-toe heels with slim wraparound ankle straps, stiletto heels, and vamps encrusted with glistening crystals, allowing Emma to shine from every angle.

Her silky, shoulder-length red tresses were styled in center-parted soft curls by Mara Roszak, while Rachel Goodwin accentuated her beauty with rosy makeup using Ilia Beauty cosmetics.

She used the Base Face Milk and True complexion Radiant Priming Serum to prepare Emma’s skin, and then the Complexion Stick and True Skin Serum Concealer in shade SC 5 to balance out Emma’s complexion.

The Limitless Lash Mascara in Midnight and The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette Cool Nudes, Unite, and Cocoon accentuated her jade green eyes. She then sculpted her eyebrows with the In Frame Brow Gel and the Full Micro-Tip Brow Pencil in Dark Blonde.

Adding color to the gray look, Goodwin applied the Multi-Stick in Lady Bird and Drawn In Nightlite Bronzing Powder on her cheeks. She added the Daylight Highlighting Powder in shade Decades for a radiant glow.

A swipe of the Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm in Hold Me completed her gorgeous glam look.

Enchanted Silver: The Screen Actors Guild Awards Ensemble

Emma Stone stuck with her go-to fashion house at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday. She dazzled in a silver gown with an elaborate gray lace pattern, custom designed by Louis Vuitton’s women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.

The La La Land actress looked exquisite in the enchanted silver gown with flashes of blue and purple that gave some color to the otherwise monochromatic dress. I loved how it was intricately embroidered with pearls, glistening sequins, and shining crystals to create a captivating swirl pattern of fern leaves.

Its flattering halterneck highlighted her toned arms as the fabric flowed elegantly over her slender frame. The gown was finished with a floor-sweeping lace-trimmed hem with a train that accompanied her every step.

Even though Emma Stone regularly wears the same silhouette, she looks best in slip dresses as they perfectly highlight her figure.

Emma’s heels were hidden beneath her gown, but she wore customized silver heels by Louis Vuitton, boosting her 5’6” height by several inches.

I appreciate the minimalistic styling that allowed the gown to speak for itself. Petra Flannery adorned Emma’s gorgeous look with a chunky Louis Vuitton diamond ring and the house’s Color Blossom Double Star Long Earrings, expertly crafted from 18k pink gold and lavishly adorned with 50 brilliant diamond pavé.

The delicate droplets fashioned in Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Flower motifs were carved from white mother-of-pearl and hand-polished to a high luster.

Styling and Makeup: The Finishing Touches

While I understand that some of you preferred her hair down, I thought her classic bun looked fantastic with her ornate gown so as not to take attention away from the main attraction.

Using Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics, Rachel Goodwin made Emma look magical with lilac makeup.

After hydrating her skin with the Magic Water Cream, Serum Crystal Elixir, and Hydrator Mist, she balanced Emma’s skin tone with the Hollywood Flawless Filter in Shade 1 Fair, Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer and Foundation in Shade 2, Hollywood Contour Wand in shade Light, and Glowgasm Beauty Light Want. Goodwin set the look with the Finish Powder in Shade 1 and the Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.

For her eyes, Goodwin used The Beautyverse Palette shades Virtual Taupe and Digital Lilac, Eyes to Mesmerize in Champagne, and Pillow Talk Push-Up Lashes Mascara. She highlighted her contour with the Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk and the Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand in Spotlight.

Goodwin blended the Lip Cheat in Supersize Me and the Hollywood Beauty Icon in K.I.S.S.I.N.G Rose to Fame to give Emma Stone a bright pink lip.
