Celine’s New Tilly Bag Is the Perfect Little Shoulder Bag

Of all the bags I own, the ones I reach for the most are sleek shoulder bags with a slim profile that sit nicely under the shoulder. There is just something so chic about the silhouette that I keep coming back to, and for Spring, one of my absolute favorite brands added a new shoulder bag to its lineup, which is perfection.

Celine teased its new Tilly Bag late last year; this month, it hits stores, and we’ve got the scoop on this sleek new carryall.

Logo Love Meets Clean Lines

Part of the brand’s Tomboy: La Collection de la Bibliothèque Nationale, the Tilly has a curved, slim profile with a long, adjustable shoulder strap. The bag is defined by its bold Triomphe logo, which is rooted in history and is one of Celine’s most important brand motifs.

Joining the Celine line-up for Spring, the Tilly perfectly aligns with Hedi Slimane’s singular vision for the House: youthful-meets-chic with attitude and edge. Featuring a casual-cool aesthetic that offers a distinctly Parisian feel, this builds upon Slimane’s tradition of embracing Celine’s rich history but with a modern edge.

Designed to be worn over the shoulder, the Triomphe logo stands out on the bag’s clean lines and simple shape, which I personally love. Where this bag differs from other shoulder bags of its kind is its zip-topped closure.

Arriving in Triomphe canvas and black, white, baby blue, and rose pink leather, aside from the white, which is finished with silver hardware, the Triomphe logo shines in gold. The bag’s interior is fitted with an inner flat pocket, and the overall dimensions are 9″ X 5″ X 2″.

Similar in size to other bags of its kind, this bag is great for day to night and will hold just the essentials: your phone, a slim card case, sunglasses in a microfiber pouch, and lipgloss. Purchase via Celine for $2,450.
